Wallblank is a great new thing that I don’t know if everyone has heard about.  Perhaps I’m just behind the curve.  One of my craft friends’ work was featured on there a few weeks ago, and since then I’ve been excited about checking back every day to see what they have come up with.

The premise is simple.  They post a new artwork every day, and keep it up for a week or until it sells out.  It’s that simple.  They usually have some wonderful work and it’s really quite affordable, plus they do the hard work of actually finding the awesome artist for you.

I’m sure some of you have seen the Scribbler. If you haven’t, please run, don’t walk, to this site. Seriously, it’s that amazing. I could sit here all day, drawing lines and then watching the program go to work. The end product is impressive enough on it’s own, but if you take what it had to start out with and look at it from that perspective (and think about the amazing coding that has to go into creating something like that) it becomes all the more amazing. I can’t really draw to save my life, so this makes my mouse-driven scribblings look awesome, and who am I to argue with that?
